Meet the Agent: Nelson Taylor
Meet Nelson Taylor: Bringing Passion, Empathy, and Expertise to Real Estate
From Seattle to Olympia: A Journey Rooted in Service
Nelson Taylor’s journey to becoming a real estate agent is as vibrant as the neighborhoods he serves. Born in Olympia and raised in Seattle, Nelson’s love for the Pacific Northwest is evident in everything he does. After earning a degree in strategic communications from Seattle University—where he also played baseball—he found his calling in real estate.
“Real estate intrigued me from a young age,” Nelson shares. “A home isn’t just a physical structure; it’s a place where you feel safe, create memories, and invest in your future.” His passion for serving people, coupled with the competitive drive he developed through sports, has shaped his approach to real estate.
“Every day is an opportunity to sharpen your skills and step up for your clients,” he says. “I aim to provide a level of excellence that’s unmatched.”
Favorite Neighborhoods: Charm, Community, and Convenience
Nelson’s deep appreciation for the unique qualities of neighborhoods shines through in his work. In Olympia, he loves the Westside for its character-filled neighborhoods, proximity to downtown, and the close-knit feel of the community. It’s also home to his favorite golf course at the Olympia Country Club.
Nelson’s business spans into King County as well, so he couldn’t resist sharing his favorite Seattle neighborhood. He enjoys Northeast Seattle, where charming architecture meets stunning mountain views, access to water, and exceptional schools. “It’s the perfect blend of suburban community and urban convenience,” Nelson notes.
Life Beyond Real Estate
When he’s not helping clients, Nelson spends his time with his wife, Emma, and their dog, Robin. Whether they’re hiking, exploring the Ralph Munro Trail, or enjoying date nights at local spots like Samayra Coffee Co. and Well 80 Brewhouse, they embrace the beauty and culture of the South Sound.
A passionate sports fan, Nelson enjoys cheering for the Mariners and Seahawks, golfing with friends, and writing. He also has a history of coaching baseball and hopes to return to working with youth programs in the future.
Discovering Olympia’s Hidden Gems
Nelson loves exploring Olympia’s hidden treasures. From shopping at Compass Rose downtown to waterfront strolls, he finds joy in the little things. “We love taking advantage of all the beautiful areas our community offers,” he says.
Making Real Estate Rewarding and Memorable
For Nelson, the most fulfilling part of real estate is guiding clients through what can often be a daunting process. “Helping clients solve problems, whether finding a new home or selling one to move to the next chapter, is incredibly rewarding,” he shares.
He takes pride in being a source of knowledge and empathy, drawing on his own experiences as a homeowner. “Real estate can be emotional and challenging, but I’m here to validate those feelings and provide data-driven advice to help clients make confident decisions.”
Giving Back to the Community
Nelson’s commitment to service extends beyond real estate. He serves on the board for the Seattle University Men’s Baseball Program and volunteers with organizations like Rainy Day Ranch and Northwest Center, which support individuals with disabilities.
Building Relationships That Last
Nelson’s mission is clear: to create lasting relationships with his clients. “Real estate isn’t just about transactions,” he says. “It’s about creating meaningful connections. Many of my clients have become friends, and that means the world to me.”
With a blend of expertise, empathy, and a genuine love for the South Sound, Nelson Taylor is not just helping people buy and sell homes—he’s helping them build their futures.
