Meet the Agent: Lauren Hail
Meet Lauren Hail: A Real Estate Agent Blending Creativity with Client Care
Lauren Hail, a real estate agent at Olympic Sotheby’s International Realty, brings a unique blend of creativity and expertise to her role. Originally from California, Lauren moved to Washington in 2006 to be closer to family. While she initially planned for her stay to be temporary, life had other plans when she met her husband, who was rooted in the area. Together, they have made Washington their long-term home, where they raise their two daughters.
Lauren’s journey into real estate began through her passion for home staging, a field she entered just over two years ago. Armed with a degree in interior design, Lauren launched her own staging company, using her creative eye to transform homes into inviting spaces that buyers could envision themselves living in. It wasn’t long before she realized real estate was a natural extension of her staging expertise. After meeting other stagers who also worked as agents, Lauren decided to pursue her real estate license. What she discovered was more than just a career—it was her dream job.
“No two days are ever the same, and that keeps things exciting,” Lauren shares. Her background in staging gives her a distinct advantage, allowing her to prepare homes for sale with a designer’s touch and a marketer’s strategy.
Life Outside the Office
When she’s not working, Lauren channels her love of design into her own home through a variety of DIY projects. From fixing faucets to planning a complete bathroom remodel, she enjoys taking on challenges and creating something beautiful. Gardening is another passion of hers, and she loves arranging flowers grown in her own garden. In addition to her home-focused hobbies, Lauren stays busy with her daughters’ many sports and activities, all while tending to their small flock of chickens.
Local to Lewis County
Lauren is particularly drawn to the charm of Lewis County’s historic neighborhoods. With their unique architecture and character-filled buildings, these areas have captivated her heart. She appreciates how modern businesses have moved into these older spaces while maintaining the traditional essence of the towns. This seamless blend of old and new is part of what makes Lewis County so special to her.
One of Lauren’s favorite spots is the Willapa Hills State Park Trail, where she often spends time with her family. Her daughters ride their bikes while she enjoys long walks alongside them, taking in the scenic beauty. For a bite to eat or a relaxing evening out, she loves visiting Middle Duck Bar in Chehalis, a place that perfectly mixes a historical feel with modern flair. Head West, her go-to hair salon in Napavine, and Tumac Taproom, a brewery housed in an old building with live music and food trucks, are other local favorites that offer charm and community spirit.
A Passion for Positive Transformations
What sets Lauren apart as an agent is her passion for teamwork and transformation. Whether staging a home or representing a client as their real estate agent, Lauren thrives on the collaborative process. She finds immense satisfaction in seeing a project come together, from conceptualizing a vision to executing it, and watching her clients’ reactions as they see their home transformed.
Outside of her work in real estate, Lauren is actively involved in her community. She supports United Way of Lewis County, participating in local events and helping the organization continue its growth. She’s also involved with her daughters’ school, serving on the PTO and staying connected with other families in the area.
Lauren’s interior design background, combined with her laid-back yet fun personality, makes her an asset to her clients. She knows how to market a home to showcase its potential, helping buyers and sellers alike feel confident throughout the process. For Lauren, the goal is always the same: to make the home buying or selling experience as rewarding and enjoyable as possible.
