Meet Jesse Herberlein: A Passionate Real Estate Agent with a Fresh Perspective

Introducing Olympic SIR agent, Jesse Heberlein, one of the brokerage’s youngest agents, though certainly not lacking experience. Jesse’s journey began in college when he helped his parents buy their first home. This early exposure left a lasting impact, setting the foundation for his future career. He earned his real estate license during his junior year at Saint Martin’s University in Lacey, Washington. A family friend and fellow Olympic SIR agent, Tommy Lowe, became his mentor, offering him a role on his team after graduation in 2019. Jesse learned invaluable lessons and gained experience under Tommy's guidance, eventually branching out to establish his own clientele. “Helping my family with their first home was an experience that showed me I’d thrive in real estate,” Jesse says. “It was then that I knew this was the right path for me.”

In addition to his real estate career, Jesse has entrepreneurial experience. He owned Creekside Chehalis, a beautiful wedding venue on the site of the former Mary McCranks restaurant, complete with a scenic creek and bridge. Today, he owns a six-unit apartment complex in Centralia, which allows him to stay hands-on with property maintenance and renovation—a skillset he finds invaluable when helping clients search for homes.

Favorite Neighborhoods

When it comes to Olympia’s unique neighborhoods, Jesse has a few personal favorites. Ski View Lake tops his list. This private, gated community, nestled around a pristine lake south of Black Hills, holds special meaning for Jesse. “It’s such a beautiful area, and all the homes are custom and unique. I have so many great memories of wakeboarding and spending time with friends on the lake.”  With its one-of-a-kind homes, it’s where he spends time boating, wakeboarding, and enjoying time with friends. He’s also fond of Gold Creek in Tumwater for its charming, established feel.

Life Outside the Office

Jesse’s love for the outdoors is clear in how he spends his free time. From wake surfing and boating at Boston Harbor to snowboarding at White Pass, he’s always in search of adventure. Mountain biking in Black Hills and along Kaiser Road is another passion he’s pursued for years. An avid car enthusiast, Jesse also enjoys restoring classic cars and values the knowledge he gains from maintaining them. “I used to race cars, but now it’s more of a hobby. I love putting time into an old car and seeing it come together.” Jesse is also actively involved in his church, Capitol Christian Center, where he values the community and connection he shares with others.

 

Hidden Gems of Olympia

Jesse has a few hidden gems he loves to share with clients. Summit Lake, with its clear blue waters, is a favorite spot for swimming and community gatherings, including a memorable triathlon every summer. Another favorite is DeSchutes Park, especially when the salmon run, where he also enjoys the historic charm of the old brewery nearby. Tumwater Valley Gym is another place he holds dear, where he finds a like-minded community focused on health and fitness.

Jesse finds fulfillment in guiding clients through transitional moments in their lives, whether they're buying or selling a home. He prioritizes being a reliable source of knowledge, aiming to be there for his clients beyond the transaction. “Having trust from clients is huge,” Jesse explains. “I want to be a wealth of knowledge, someone they can count on for important decisions.”
