Meet Keenan French, one of Greene Reality Group’s newest agents, and a Tumwater local his entire life. Born and raised in Tumwater, Keenan attended Tumwater High School, and later Washington State University where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in business entrepreneurship. After graduating he worked in insurance for few years before working in forestry at his family’s forestry company. Keenan loves the great outdoors and really cherished his work in forestry but felt the calling to work more competitively, giving back to the community he grew up in. Real estate was the answer and Greene is the place to be. Keenan knows it takes time for success, but he values the opportunity to learn from other agents.

“The first few years is learning. I want to take as much knowledge in as possible, from all these great realtors around me. I’m serious when I say great realtors, there’s Jim Greene, Justin Hjelm, Sterling Stock, Tommy Lowe, you know there’s just so many of them and they all know so much. I want to take the best pieces from each one of them and apply it to myself.”

Keenan is a highly competitive person. Competing in sports his entire life, he realizes that competition helps drive his success. He’s always had the drive to work hard, and he genuinely cares about helping people, which is one of the reasons he likes working in real estate so much. He wants to become the best at whatever he’s doing and for him now, that’s real estate. Having such deep love for his 9-year-old daughter, he’s driven to support her.

“Oh, I am competitive! Whatever I’m doing I want to be the best at it. I want to be successful to build the community, but I’m really driven to help my family and provide for my daughter and being local is great because I’m helping support the community I grew up in.”

His competitive drive is also paired with his love for sports so in his free time Keenan golfs regularly, absolutely loves snowboarding, and competes on local softball teams throughout the summer. You’ll see Keenan hitting home runs on Thursday nights with his championship softball team, so go cheer him on!
