Meet Phyllis Mandel. Phyllis is proud to be born and raised here in Olympia and she has been working in real estate for 35 years. Phyllis started her real estate career in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she spent almost 20 years. She finally made her way back to her home town of Olympia in 1998 and has been helping buyers and sellers in the area ever since. Phyllis brings experience, knowledge and creativity to every transaction she takes part in.

“I’ve seen all kinds of markets. I’ve worked in really bad markets with 20% interest rates; I’ve worked in ‘up’ markets and in ‘down’ markets.”

Phyllis has been so successful in real estate because of the high standards that she holds her business to. Years of experience has made it so that Phyllis knows exactly what she needs from everyone involved in the process in order for a transaction to run as smoothly as possible.  

“I spend a lot of time writing marketing remarks for my listings, and I’ll hire more than one photographer if I’m not getting what I need.”

When Phyllis isn’t working, you can find her working among many of the organizations that she supports. Phyllis is a member of the board at South Puget Sound Community College, she donates to many animal welfare causes, several nonprofits that support children and families as well as Providence St. Peter Hospital Foundation

“I like keeping busy, visiting new places, learning new things and meeting new people.”
